A hydraulic throwout bearing kit is a common installation question that mechanics frequently overlook.

It is critical to understand how to properly install it.

There are a few steps you can take to properly install a hydraulic throwout bearing.

This article will go over the steps that are required for each type of bearing.

It will also go over how to select the best bearing assembly style for your specific application.

First, ensure that the hydraulic throwout bearing kit has sufficient clearance to its mounting surface.

Some parts of the car require zero clearance, while others should have some.

Measure the opening on the transmission side of the bell housing with the pressure plate in place to ensure proper clearance.

Measure the distance between the clutch fingers and the straight edge, as well as the transmission mounting face.

The fittings must now be adjusted.

Check that the fittings are in the proper positions and are not pointing down.

After the hydraulic throwout bearing kit  assembly has been properly aligned, connect the bleeder line to the top.

Following that, you must back out the bearing.

The clutch will not disengage if the bearing does not release properly.

The final hydraulic throwout bearing kit  face location is slightly less than the first measurement.

The final measurement should be 4mm smaller than the first.

A large gap may cause clutch slippage or bearing failure.

A too-narrow gap can also result in a broken seal and fluid leakage.

The proper installation procedure is to carefully follow the instructions and read the manual.

Remove the bellhousing first.

The clutch should then be removed.

You can use an alignment tool to install the clutch if necessary.

Install the bellhousing next.

Place a straight edge across the opening of the bell housing.

Measure the diaphragm’s resting depth with a measuring tape.

The diaphragm should be measured three times: once on the clutch, once on the flywheel, and once on the release bearing.

After removing the clutch, you must install the hydraulic release bearing.

You must first remove the clutch fork in order to do so.

The hydraulic release bearing | hydraulic throwout bearing kit can then be installed by inserting it into the bellhousing.

A master cylinder is required to install the hydraulic throwout bearing.

Orient Bearing has a 3/4″ bore master cylinder in stock.

It is simple to adapt to nearly any clutch pedal.

 Kit for Hydraulic Throwout Bearings

A Hydraulic Throwout Bearing Kit has numerous advantages.

A dependable drivetrain is essential for transferring engine power to the ground.

This includes a new bellhousing, a multi-disc racing clutch, and a strong transmission.

When a mechanical clutch linkage fails, a hydraulic throwout bearing can save a race weekend.

This kit can make the race weekend a lot more enjoyable by preventing clutch pedal failure.

Another excellent option is the Orient hydraulic throwout bearing.

In addition to being versatile, they have a longer life and durability than the factory hydraulic system.

Depending on the make and model of your vehicle, you can select either a universal or a specific model.

Ascertain that you have a master cylinder bore for the kit.

A universal bearing kit is an excellent choice for universal use.

The kit contains a bearing as well as all necessary mounting hardware.

If you do not have a master cylinder, you can replace it with an orient bearing.

The Orient hydraulic throwout bearing kit is another popular hydraulic throwout bearing kit.

The Orient hydraulic throwout bearing kit replaces the OEM bearing retainer and is made of hard anod billet aluminum.

High pressure stainless steel braided lines and elbow swivel fittings are also included.

If you don’t have a clutch linkage, this kit is an excellent choice.
