Clutch Master Cylinder Functions:  

1. Converts Mechanical Action: When the driver presses the clutch pedal, the piston inside the clutch master cylinder is pushed, compressing hydraulic fluid to generate hydraulic pressure.  

2. Transmits Hydraulic Pressure: The generated hydraulic pressure is transmitted via hydraulic lines to the clutch slave cylinder or release bearing.  

3. Controls Clutch Separation: The hydraulic pressure pushes the clutch pressure plate, separating the clutch disc from the flywheel, thereby disconnecting the engine from the transmission.  

4. Restores Clutch Engagement: When the driver releases the clutch pedal, the spring in the master cylinder pushes the piston back, causing the hydraulic pressure to disappear and allowing the pressure plate to re-engage the clutch disc with the flywheel, restoring power transmission.

Structure of the Clutch Master Cylinder:

1. Cylinder Body: The main housing of the master cylinder, typically made of aluminum alloy or cast iron.
